Ph.D. Defense – Nathan Donahue

December 2021 – Nathan Donahue defended his Ph.D. thesis with the title “Establishing elemental analysis to quantify nanoscale interactions at single nanoparticle and single cell levels”. Congratulations, Dr. Donahue! Thank you to the Ph.D. committee members, Drs. Handan Acar, Michael Detamore, and Luca Fornelli.

Outstanding Senior – Emmy Francek

November 2021 – Our undergraduate student, Emmy Francek, has been selected as the OU Gallogly College of Engineering Outstanding Senior. Congratulations, Emmy!

BE4NANO Outreach

October 2021 – As part of the “Bionanotechnology Engagement for Native Americans in Oklahoma” (BE4NANO) outreach and education initiative, Wilhelm Lab visited the Caddo-Kiowa Technology Center in Fort Cobb to engage high school juniors in classroom hands-on demonstrations around bionanotechnology. We thank SBME Prof. Rebecca Scott for joining us, and we are grateful for the support through the NSF CAREER award (2048130).
